B/X D&D Fighting Techniques

Mad sage, grognard, and OSR-writer (not that OSR, the other one) in residence, Lokerimon Elohim, found himself plagued by insomnia one night. As shapeless and raving nocturnal specters flitted past his tower window, he turned his mind inward and began to conceive of some new rules for (a version of) the world's oldest role-playing game.

These rules may not be fun, and they may not work, but conceiving of them kept Lokerimon from going even more mad for another hand's counting of months, and for that, we at Geoffquest are grateful. 

These rules should work with B/X Dungeons & Dragons and its many doppelgangers. They grant fighters, dwarves, elves, and halflings certain combat techniques that will serve them well against the manxome foes that bubble up from below.
